Stop worrying: When you think about “What would happen? What should I do?” or anything like that, you become nervous and become anxious. So it’s always better not to overthink much. Try to keep your mind at present and avoid unnecessary thinking.

Be positive: We can not stop our thinking completely. Something would definitely pop up in our minds. It can be positive or negative. But in the case of anxiety, we are pretty sure it’s negative thoughts.

Now what you can do is turn your Negativity into positivity. Whenever you get negative thoughts, like ‘you feel alone, you are not good enough or something like that. Try to believe they are not true enough for you to worry. Reply to yourself in a positive way. Throw away negativity.

Breath: Most of you might know that breathing is a good exercise. But did you know that breathing can help you to calm your anxiety?

Yes, it is possible. When you breathe as an exercise, you have to count numbers. But you don’t need to do that in this scenario. Just focus on inhaling and exhaling. This will slow down your nervousness and set your mind.

Name Things around you: when you feel nervous, look around you and try to name the object around you. Then try to name the sounds you are hearing. Why are we doing this?

Because in this time your brain runs pretty faster and by trying this mental trick you can stabilize your brain and you will calm down slowly.

Do Something: Doing something can reduce your nervousness as it diverts your attention in another way. That being said, you don’t have to be specific all the time about what to do. If there is nothing to do then just stand up if you sitting or sit down if you standing, walk around, drink water, etc.

That’s it for today. Thanks for reading and visiting here. Try these tips from now on. And let me know in the comment how it feels to be free from anxiety or nervousness…..
